Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel.  Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind).  So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me?  Pantser?  I think?  But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid.  And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly.  And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr

The Theme is "Pinku pink Friends", they are a group of OC's made of our 3 characters: Chisa, Missu and Chiio.
The description of the group is: a group of friends, like sisters, they are very close and insaparable friends.
This contest starts on June 10th and the deadline is on August 10th! All entries need to be sent to the

Music Is My Inspiration ContestWell guys I've decided to start my own contest, because I had awesome feedback on the idea ^_^
It'll be my first contest that I've held...EVER! So it's very exciting :3
So, about the theme of the contest. Well whenever I've felt down and blue because I've been slapped upside the head with an art block, I like to wallow in self pity and blast my favourite tunes XD (LOL) It's extremely therapeutic :P and it really does help to inspire me with new ideas :D.
A perfect example would be my OC's Medi-kate & Black Nova, both created from inspiration from music.

i was an early bird , i think i arrived there 15 minutes early : D

it was really hot out side and i didn't thought of taking a pic so i don't have ^^

i went around trying to familiarize the place and seen which stalls are open.


then i saw :iconchesterocampo: 's prints. actually i was going to buy three prints but i was holding back (thats why it was bad to go really early )

this is the print that i bought

then i still went around quite a few times cuz i was trying to find this certain thing... it was expensive so it kept me from buying yet....

i ended up in the exhibit.

then i noticed it was extremely cold because there were barely any people around. it feels as if 75% of the people there are the exhibitors. that was around .

There were only a few people and those people are the ones in front of the stage and it was freaking cold, really.


then around 4:00 pm i think the group cosplay began. GROUP individual cosplay is today TT^TT and i didn't go.

i really loling at the first group who performed cuz it was PURE RANDOMNESS.

then after that i finally found out who mr. :iconwickedalucard: is. (bec. he was one of the judges for the cosplay)
so i asked him for the art book. he told me that they are supposed to sell it on the second day. then he showed me the art book. but since i was feeling deep inside my wallet that i might not go to the second day i decided to buy early.

then thanks again to :conj8d:-sensei i found out who :icontotmoartsstudio2: is and asked for the free art request.
